About me
I’m a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Kodiak, and the youngest of six in a commercial fishing family. My siblings and I are proud to be the third generation working in Alaska’s fisheries, it’s in our blood. I spent my summers on our boat, F/V Silver Spray, in Prince William Sound where I learned firsthand that hard work, grit, and community are what keep Alaska strong.
Beyond the water, I’m a private pilot, flying across the rugged coastlines and remote communities that make this district so unique. I’ve seen Alaska from every angle, as a fisherman, as a pilot, and as a local. I understand just how much our way of life depends on infrastructure that remains resilient, independent, and connected.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work as an intern in the Office of Senator Lisa Murkowski as well as serve in the Office of the Vice President, giving me a firsthand view of how national decisions ripple down to local communities. I know the needs of this district because I’ve lived them, and I believe we need representation who understands both the local challenges we face and the bigger systems that affect our state.
Alaska isn’t just where I live, it’s who I am. I’m proud to call myself a True Alaskan, and I’m ready to stand up and be a voice for the people and communities that have shaped me.
true alaskan. true leadership.
